Foster Homes Needed
The Shelter is once again looking for applicants
that are interested in becoming foster families
for pregnant cats, mother cats with kittens,
as well as orphaned kittens.
Please call Ellen at 692-1517 for more information.

Please CLICK HERE to download our
cat/kitten foster care information brochure

There is also a foster home need for special-needs dogs during the summer months, when adoptions
slow down. We are looking for foster homes that can help out with some of our stronger breed dogs - many of these dogs are not suited for multi-dog homes. These dogs needing foster care have very common levels of dog-tolerance and will need a K-9 friend
of the opposite sex.
Please call Kristyn at 692-1517 for more information.

Please CLICK HERE to download our dog
foster home form.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND INFO

Reduced Adoption Fees!
Adoption Sale
Thanks to an overwhelming amount of financial donations received over the holiday season, the
Moose Jaw Humane Society has reduced the rates
on its adoption fees for the entire month of January.
All dogs (six months and up) will be available for adoption for $50, and all canines will leave the shelter already spayed or neutered for this low fee. Puppies will be available for $90, which is just the spay or neuter deposit for these surgeries once the dog is
old enough to have the operation performed.
All fixed cats will be available for adoption for just $25, and any of our current “free-range” cats will be, well, FREE to adopt! (Any feline that is unfixed or under
the age of six months will be available for the $90
spay or neuter deposit fee only.)
The humane society’s adoption process will not change for this special adoption drive. Prospective adoptive families will still be required to fill out an adoption application form regarding their lifestyle and expectations of pet ownership. Please visit
our adoption pages to download a form or pick
one up at the shelter.

aging heating system, something the shelter has been really struggling with this year. The total cost of the repairs is $6,500, so if you are interested in helping,
please contact the shelter at 692-1517.
