Toby - 5 year neutered declawed male

Toby our big guy is a quiet guy with a big heart. Toby would make a wonderful addition to a home that is looking for a laid back guy with a calm personality.

Toby would enjoy hogging your bed at night, stealing your seat on the couch, laying on your book when you’re trying to read and of course calling your lap his own.

Vixen - Adult Female

Vixen was found stray at the Southridge townhouse on south hill. This pretty lady was wearing a purple collar but no one came to claim her.

Vixen is a sweet girl that enjoys cat napping and laying in the sun. She is very, very affectionate with her humans. Vixen is sure to make a wonderful lifetime companion for most any feline lover.

Minet - Spayed Adult Female

This little lady if you can believe came to us with 9 kittens. Way too many kittens for such a young mother to have.

Now on her own and recently spayed Minet is looking to start her life on her own. She is looking for a family to take care of her and reward her for being such a great mamma. With her striking looks and loving personality we know that Minet will be the perfect addition to any home.

Darian

Darian is our special guy that only has 3 legs. Found stray we are unsure what has happened to this guy but he isn’t letting it get him down.

Darian is a very lovable guy who would like nothing more than a lap to curl up on or a basket in a window to sleep in. Although Darian has certainly been through a lot, he has not allowed those hurdles in the road to phase his outlook on life. Darian is sweet and affectionate despite the past. He would greatly appreciate a forever home to call his own.

Aster - Adopted!

Honey - Adult spayed declawed female

Honey was found stray on Oxford Street. This little lady is declawed and has no tail. We know that someone must be missing this lady but no one has come to claim her.

Honey is affectionate and friendly. She has been soaking up all the attention from our staff and volunteers. Mara will make a wonderful lifetime companion for most any feline lover's home.

Rico - Adopted!

Cathy - Adult spayed declawed female

Chatty Cathy was found on Corman cress and she would love a chance to tell you about it. This beauty is declawed and we are assuming spayed.

Cathy is looking for a home to livin up with her love of telling stories and her desire to be in the spotlight. This spunky young girl would be a wonderful addition to an upbeat home.

Mootoo- Adult male

New puppies in the household meant that the family could no longer handle having Mootoo in their current situation, so he was surrendered to the shelter. Mootoo is a great cat who is six years old and a neutered male. When he arrived at the shelter, his long hair was quite badly matted, so we had his ‘do shaved down into a lion-style haircut. Normally, he is medium-haired orange tabby, but he is coping quite well with his brush-cut. He has always been an indoor cat, so we’d like to find him a home where he can remain inside.

Nala - 6 year old spayed declawed female

Nala is a very affectionate feline. She will waltz right up to you and nudge you with her head, requesting love. While she enjoys being petted, Nala wasn’t at all demanding. Nala is a beauty – inside and out. 

Nala is a quiet lady and does enjoy her alone time. She would do wonderful in a home that is quiet and without other pets

Benson

Benson is a quiet gentleman cat who came to the shelter as a stray at the end of March, from the 1500 Block of Stadacona Street West. He is an adult male, with a lovely smoky grey medium-length coat. He is a quiet and friendly cat who enjoys a chin rub and a belly tickle, and he is very eager to move out of his kennel and into a home that he can call his own.

Princess - 7 year old spayed female

Princess really does live up to her name. This lady knows that she deserves the best. Princess has spent a while wondering why she is here and is marking days of her calendar to when she will go to a home that she can be a true princess.

If you come to visit Princess you may be lucky enough to have her pay attention to you… Princess is a true cat! Princess also does enjoy singing the blues and telling her hard luck tale. If you are looking for royalty to run your house Princess is the lady for you.

How-To Adopt an Animal from the Moose Jaw Humane Society

• Visit the Shelter during viewing hours to see if we have a pet you might be interested in adopting.
• Fill out and submit the adoption application form.
• We suggest that you spend some time with the pet you choose to be sure it is right for you. We provide a private room where you can spend some time visiting with your future pet. If you are considering adopting a dog, you might even decide to take it for a walk.
• We recommend you bring in all family members to meet your potential pet and to check for compatibility.
• If you are still unsure if the pet is right for you and your family, you may want to consider a trial period, for the pet to briefly live with you, before you complete the final adoption process.
• To help you care for your pet, all the veterinary clinics in Moose Jaw and Assiniboia have agreed to provide you with a free vet-check within three working days after adoption. The purpose of this exam is to ensure that the animal is in good health. In the event that a medical problem is found, the owner is given the option to return the pet to the Shelter or keep the pet and pursue any necessary treatments. The vet-check is also a great opportunity to discuss feeding, vaccination requirements, spaying or neutering and so forth.
